A Black artist from Colorado was infuriated after checking her DMs and learning that artwork she created honoring the late rapper Nipsey Hussle was being sold without her permission by retail giant Walmart.

Last month, Jeresneyka Rose, an artist and resident of Colorado Springs, said the issue was brought to her attention while clearing messages from her social media accounts, according to South East Express. Supporters congratulated her for an assumed collaboration with Walmart, who sold the canvas prints for $14.98.

“I was going through my [message] requests and people, like three people in a row, requested me around the same time, tagging me in a congratulations thing on a collaboration,” Rose said. “I was like, ‘What?’ I looked at it and they were like, ‘I got my Art by Rizzo at Walmart.’ I responded, ‘Thank you so much for tagging me and your support, but they stole my work. I didn’t collaborate with them.’”
